Malwarebytes identified this app as an infection. I don't know if that's an error, but Light Notes has stored 9MB of user data - I found out during a routine cache clean - before I've ever used the app as far as I remember (forgot I'd installed it ages ago). I and many IT professionals, have great trust in Malwarebytes; I don't know this app or developer. User data deleted first, then uninstalled!
This is my favorite notes app, I use it 3.5 years for now. However I want to ask the developer to add password protection feature since I use the app to keep my personal data. All this time I had to use 3rd party app to protect the notes app from prying eyes. Please, add password protection feature, then I'll buy Premium access.
Why does it always stop when I try to restore my notes? I don't mind paying for a premium version, is it the same with REMOVE ADS version? I always backup my notes, saved the backup in my laptop, then restored them to my mobile phone whenever needed. I had my mobile phone reset on 16 March 2021, at that time I was successfully restoring all my notes from my laptop to my mobile phone. But now I can't restore all my notes, they are gone! Please fix this. Thank you.
I could give 5 later, but now I need a feature to be able to search for my backup on device, because the app can't see it and now I lost all of my notes from previous phone
Back up or restore not work in this new version
It introduced annoying ads. When I just want to take a quick note, I don't have time to watch an ad. Be careful, if you close an ad before it finishes playing, your note will not be saved! Now I have to move all my notes to a different app. I wouldn't pay for such a basic app. Thankfully there are tons of other note taking apps that are free, open source or already come preinstalled on your phone. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

Have to change my review from 5 stars to 1. Was the best notes app and I used it for years until the developer suddenly decided to implement intrusive ads with the latest update. Time to uninstall and look for something else...
Random ads popping up now. Very intrusive.
